The first version of "Starlight Qilin" has achieved full compatibility with mainstream domestic mobile chips.

In September 2022, Kylin Software officially launched the "Star Kylin Universal Intelligent Connection Operating System," opening a new path of innovation for next-generation operating systems across all scenarios. Recently, The first version of the "Star Kylin Universal Intelligent Connection Operating System"—Star Kylin Operating System 1.0 (StarKylin 1.0)—has completed adaptation and optimization with the Huiwei smart tablet computer.

During the adaptation process, Star Kylin Operating System 1.0 upgraded to a higher version of the kernel, supporting a dual-system architecture security framework integrating software and hardware. It achieves compatibility and unified user experience integration of H5 and Android application ecosystems and supports distributed application collaboration functions. This adaptation marks Star Kylin's achievement of full coverage of mainstream mobile chips from domestic independent chip manufacturers.

The Shenzhen Huiwei Intelligent Technology TVE1206R tablet is equipped with a domestically produced high-end chip, uses an ultra-thin, all-metal unibody design with a thickness of only 7.4mm, boasts over 10 hours of battery life, has a built-in national cryptographic chip to create an inherent security system, and is equipped with a detachable keyboard and a rechargeable active capacitive stylus.

Star Kylin Operating System 1.0 will initially cover the business needs of tablets, large screens, handheld devices, and wearable devices. It is independently developed based on the Linux kernel, uses the same kernel version as the Galaxy Kylin desktop operating system, and possesses core technology intellectual property rights. The system uses HTML5 technology to build a unified running framework that integrates H5, Linux, and AOSP, is compatible with the AOSP application ecosystem, and has rich software and hardware ecosystem support. During the development process, Star Kylin Operating System 1.0 fully draws on the nourishment of the openKylin community and leverages the technical experience of the Galaxy Kylin desktop operating system to meet the application needs of various industries in the era of universal intelligent connection.

The Star Kylin Universal Intelligent Connection Operating System features "elastic expansion, intelligent interconnection, inherent security, and a unified framework." It integrates a domestic AI framework and supports various new human-computer interaction methods. The system uses a component-based design, supporting elastic expansion according to hardware resource size, usage scenarios, and device form, and customizing the system running environment; it pre-installs intelligent interconnection K-Link technology, breaking down device boundaries and supporting rapid sharing and seamless transfer of data, screens, and computing power between devices; it combines hardware capabilities to build a secure and reliable software-hardware integrated system, supporting national cryptographic algorithms to meet data encryption needs; and it creates a fusion application framework to provide a unified user experience, enabling file sharing and data sharing between ecosystems, and allowing any ecosystem application to run simultaneously and switch seamlessly.

In the future, the Star Kylin Universal Intelligent Connection Operating System will also cover industrial control, Internet of Things, and edge computing devices, meeting the needs of massive interconnected business systems. With a strategic layout of "terminal interconnection—scenario interconnection—intelligent development," it aims to meet the digital application needs of the nation, industries, enterprises, and individuals.

The Star Kylin project R&D team upholds the down-to-earth craftsmanship spirit, remains true to its original aspirations, focuses on security, and is committed to creating a landmark secure product for domestic universal intelligent connection operating systems. Kylin Software looks forward to collaborating with industry partners to innovate, jointly expand the boundaries of universal intelligent connection, create a better future for the industry, and make greater contributions to promoting the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy and driving high-quality development of the digital economy!

For a better audio conferencing experience, Huiwei Intelligent launched the omnidirectional conference microphone TVD5010

The epidemic has given rise to many new video call scenarios. Many families have started online classes at home, and online meetings have become commonplace for many companies. This has also led to a large number of products specifically designed for remote meetings. Mobile phones, computers, and tablets—our current devices are perfectly capable of video calls and remote meetings. But why do we still need external microphones, speakers, and cameras? Clearly, the audio and video call quality of integrated devices is unsatisfactory, and problems such as unclear voices and noise interference often occur, affecting communication efficiency.
