Huwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Huwei Intelligent') held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Jiangmen R&D and manufacturing base in Jiangmen City on November 9, 2023. This ceremony marks a significant milestone in Huwei Intelligent's development history.
Located in Haixin Avenue, Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, the Huwei Intelligent Jiangmen base boasts mature surrounding industrial supporting facilities and convenient transportation. It covers an area of 16,000 square meters and plans to construct approximately 37,000 square meters of modern factory buildings and supporting facilities.
As one of Huwei Intelligent's post-IPO investment projects, the Jiangmen base will be planned and constructed as a high-standard, modern, intelligent manufacturing base. The project is expected to be completed within one year. Once completed and put into production, it will significantly increase Huwei Intelligent's terminal product capacity, effectively reduce manufacturing and operating costs, and strive to create an industry-leading, highly automated production and manufacturing base to respond to the continuously deepening cooperation and development trend of the Greater Bay Area.
Huwei Intelligent's management, leaders from Pengjiang District of Jiangmen City, and Huwei Intelligent's upstream and downstream partners attended the groundbreaking ceremony, witnessing this important moment. Through this base construction, Huwei Intelligent will further strengthen close cooperation with the local government and partners, making positive contributions to the economic development of Jiangmen City.
